SOL NEGRO EN FRONTIGNAN...

Hoy comienza el verano en este lado del planeta y pese a que todo parece girar alrededor de un sol de cuero, colorido y multicultural justo debajo del meridiano, en Frontignan arranca una nueva semana dedicada al negro: cine, cómic y novela negra; donde participo por segunda vez como invitado a realizar la gráfica.

Un festival que festeja el negro bajo un sol formidable, luminoso y multicultural sobre la costa francesa, en el que se bebe muscat, se comen mejillones asados y se baila hasta que todos pierden la cabeza y olvidan por un momento que un poco más abajo, el mundial se olvida de Europa.

Today, the summer begins in this side of the globe and although everything seems to turn about the sun of leather, coloring and multicultural justly under the meridian, in Frontignan there begins a new week devoted to the black: movies, comic and detective stories. A festival in which I take part for the second time like guest to realize the graph (poster, t-shirts and tags of wine & beer). A festival that the black celebrates under the formidable, luminous and multicultural sun on the French coast, in that drink wine muscat, roast mussels eat up, and it's danced until they all lose the head and forget for a moment that a little further down, the world cup forgets Europe.

LA NOCHE QUE FUIMOS ROCK

El jueves pasado un equipo de ilustradores fuimos convocados por el "mister" Royo para ilustrar canciones -en riguroso directo- de la banda catalana Love of Lesbian, dentro del marco festivalero de ILU·STATION. A mí me tocó la canción "Houston, tenemos un poema" que pueden ver aquí gracias a la mano improvisada, firme y oportuna de mi amigo Iván que captó la instantánea y mi inexperiencia en este tipo de mmm... experiencias (a punto estuve de convertir el "poema" en "problema"!).

Pero la lista de participantes fue larga y mucho más interesante que esto que ven, y si bien se está cocinando una edición como la gente de lo que fue este show especial y acústico para el festival, aún no hay mucho más para ver online, salvo lo que dibujaron los grandes jugadores Maxi Luchini y Pepo Perez.

The last Thursday a team of illustrators we were summoned by the "trainer" It gnawed to illustrate songs -in rigorous direct- of the catalonian band Love of Lesbian, inside of the ILU·STATION FEST. I had to illustrate the song "Houston, we have a poem" and that you can see here, thanks to the unexpected, firm and opportune hand of my friend Iván, who received the snapshot and my inexperience in this type of experiences (to point I was of turning the "poem" in "problem"!).

But the list of participants was long and much more interesting than this that you see, and although there is cooked a cool edition of what was this special and acoustic show for the festival, there is still not much any more to see online, except what there drew the big players Maxi Luchini and Pepo Perez.
